Welcome to KFLY SEATTLE

We create versatile, easy to maintain, small batch clothing made in the Pacific Northwest. We host clothing swaps and teach classes from learning to thread a sewing machine, how to sew the basics, mending, zero-waste patterning, pattern drafting, tailored shirt making and open studio mentorship we call Make It Werk.

We are on a quest to share this knoweldge

We are passionate about connecting our individual actions to the greater sustainability community through actions and events. We care about this earth and the peoples who live here. The fashion industry effects us all globally and we're all out here wearing clothing --- what a wonderful connecting thread!
Please come and join us in the sharing of this fabulous and empowering knowledge, to mend and reduce waste, in the classes we teach in Belltown
and all over the city.

Get something special for you

We make custom personal, party, office and event wear from up-cycled and dead-stock materials honoring the uniqueness of your body.  Please let us know what special item is missing from your closet with a custom project inquiry via kflyseattle@gmail.com
Reach out with a sewing skill or garment you want to learn how to make. We can formulate custom classes around projects that you, and maybe also a small group, want to accomplish together.
We also love to rehab historic and treasured items in your life, just send us a line
and don't forget to shine bright
